Global warming is real. However, it is now mainly driven by China, with India, Africa and South America coming on strong. China now emits twice the US emissions. So one does wonder why the emphasis remains on the USA and Capitalism. Moreover, do you know how many deadlines of doom have been declared, only to go by with no catastrophe?

Will the alarmists apologize for creating false anxiety, particularly among our children, when the next decade passes and there is not much change to notice? They should, but of course they won't.

As long as ideological and geopolitical goals such as ending capitalism and slowing the growth of western countries are peddled as necessary to "save the Earth," we'll know that those who have the most reliable information still see this as a long-range problem exploitable for political advantage, and not as a real emergency that requires real actions. And even then, no one is going to stop China or any of the other emerging economies from growing. So the solutions will likely be nuclear energy unless we have fusion, together with geo-engineering. Or, none at all, in which case we'll see vast migrations to those areas of the planet that will be improved by warming. But relax - there is still plenty of time to pack.
